Is Homecart free?
Yes. All the smart parts are free. Pro is a one-time purchase for people who want more lists, more guest groups, all themes and all widgets.
Is there an Android version?
No, Homecart is an iPhone app. Guests can take part on any device in the browser.
Does it run on iPad or Apple Watch?
On iPad the iPhone version runs. There's no Watch app yet.
Do I need an account?
No. A household is created with one tap, joining is by code. Sign in with Apple is an optional backup, not an account.
Does Homecart show ads or sell data?
Neither, not even in the free version.
Can I be in two households?
A device belongs to one household. You can switch; for groups outside it there are guest groups.
Does Homecart work offline?
Yes, fully. Sync catches up once you're back online.
Does Pro work with Family Sharing?
Pro applies to your Homecart household, independently of Apple's Family Sharing. One person buys, everyone in the household has it.
How many people fit in a household?
There's no fixed limit. Homecart is made for couples, families and shared flats.
